What is ETIAS?

ETIAS is a travel authorization and security measure designed to enhance the safety and management of travelers entering the Schengen Zone. This applies to travelers from visa-exempt countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and many others.

Who Needs ETIAS?

•⁠  ⁠Travelers visiting Europe for tourism, business, transit, or medical reasons.

•⁠  ⁠Travelers from countries that currently do not require a visa for short stays in Europe.

How to Apply for ETIAS?

The application process is simple and can be completed online. Here's what you need to know:

•⁠  ⁠*Online Application Form:* Provide your passport details, travel itinerary, and some background information.

•⁠  ⁠*Fee:* A small processing fee will be required for individuals aged 18 to 70.

•⁠  ⁠*Processing Time:* Most applications are approved within minutes; however, it’s recommended to apply at least a week before travel.

Validity of ETIAS

Once approved, your ETIAS is valid for multiple entries over three years, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
